с моей точки зрения у каждого бренда свои особенности. Может кто-то найдет не уместным, тем не менее. Например, xiaomi. Как произносишь, первые впечатление у потребителя - хорошие, качественные вещи за дружелюбную цену. Это фишка таких компаний и залог успеха. В автомобилях, как ранее я хотел сказать, такой ореол начал складываться у Джили с атласом и кулреем.
Теперь новое поколение машин. Фу11 и префейс. Сохранится это или нет.
вот, если сделаете на сма машину меньше, чем префейс, и соотвенно цены чуть меньше, скажем конкурента шкоды Октавии и там максимальные цены 1.7...1.75 вот такое авто может взорвать рынок.

2. octavia 1.4l with 2000s interior, preface 2.0l with mordern interior.
3. kia stinger from 2.2 million, preface 1.5 - 2.0 million.
4. do you know most Russians buy redmi instead of xiaomi? but we still present flagship to you even if we know it will not sell many.
5. lower price is equal to lower brand value, this is how korean failed in china, korean offer huge discount in china for years, the result is nobody think korean should cost over 150k yuan, santa fe sells as many as bentley now.
I wouldn’t like disputing. I am not an expert in car market. I just said my thought at first came in my mind. probably you mean octavia a7 but I meant a8. during last year there were prices of stinger around 2. Nevertheless I wouldn't say that it is demanded. Again I might be wrong I am not an expert.
I wouldn't say lower price is equal to lower brand value. Market value of VAG, might be wrong, but seems higher than that of Rolls Royce car manufacturer.
We again returning to the previous points. If you want cover whole customer segments why you need so many brands in premium segments? If you move with Geemly to premium. You would have there are three Volvo, Lynk and Geely cannibalizing each other and nothing in mass segment...
no matter a7 or a8, you can only take a 1.4t for 1.7 in russia, geely offer you a drive-e 2.0t t4 with 1.5 million price tag, it will succeed in russia. btw, for 1.7 you can take a kodiaq 2.0t 186hp in china.
seems to me it is not easy question which is better 1.4tsi+aisin or 1.5 e-drive+dct ... 2.0tsi\tdi+dsg or 2.0e-drive+aisin...
